The company was founded by James L. Freeman after a 17 year career at Credit Suisse First Boston. At
Credit Suisse First Boston, Professor Freeman headed various groups including Global Equities, Global
Asset Management, Global Equity and Fixed Income Research, Global Sales, Chairman of the Investment
Policy Committee and Portfolio Strategist. He was a member of the Executive and Management Committees
for 8 years.
Over the last decade, Freeman & Co. has established itself as one of the leading independent advisors
